GOdreams Drives Strong Results For BNP Paribas Bank Polska

Stockholm, 26 May 2026 - BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A., has partnered with Doconomy to deliver GOdreams, the bank’s goal-based savings solution embedded in the GOmobile app. Launched in April 2025, GOdreams helps customers set and achieve personal savings goals while enhancing engagement with the bank’s full digital ecosystem.

The success of GOdreams signals a shift toward a more intentional relationship between banks and their customers, where digital tools drive both financial wellbeing and commercial growth. In its first year of operation, GOdreams achieved a high level of user engagement – 49,787 dreams were created, of which 13,661 have already been fulfilled.

The product resonates particularly well with younger customers, with users under 25 significantly overrepresented compared to the overall GOmobile user base - a strong indication that GOdreams is supporting BNP Paribas Bank Polska’s objective to strengthen engagement with Gen Z clients.

GOdreams helps customers make real progress toward their savings goals by offering a digital tool for planning and setting aside funds for individually defined objectives - from travel and personal development to buying a home - in a way tailored to their needs and financial capabilities. The solution stands out for its high flexibility, enabled by a variety of savings plans, including automated and engaging mechanisms such as ‘Autopilot’ - which adjusts the amount of funds collected based on the user's financial capacity - and gamification elements, which support consistency and user motivation.

Median savings exceed €1,000 per active user, and 40% of savings goals are set up with recurring savings, showing that users are building consistent saving habits. These users also engage actively with the GOmobile app, logging in on average 1.6 times more often than non-users, highlighting the solution’s role in connecting customers more closely with the bank’s digital platform.

The solution has also been recognized externally, with GOdreams nominated for the Mobile Trends Awards 2025, one of the most prestigious honours in the Polish mobile industry, highlighting its innovation and relevance in the market.

A growing culture of conscious saving

The success of GOdreams is underpinned by a broader shift in Polish financial behavior. Recent research commissioned by BNP Paribas Bank Polska reveals that saving is increasingly becoming a habit for 58% of Polish people. While 71% of respondents believe that willpower and established habits are more critical than income levels, there remains a significant need for education and tools, as only 40% declare a strong knowledge of savings products.

By providing a "financial compass" through goal-based planning, GOdreams directly addresses the 93% of Polish people who believe saving is a skill that can be learned.

Overall, the impact of GOdreams’ first year in operation highlights how innovative digital solutions can deliver meaningful financial impact for customers while supporting the bank’s growth objectives.

We want banking services to better address our customers’ everyday needs; it is the foundation of our new ‘Accelerate 2030’ strategy. With GOdreams, developed in partnership with Doconomy, we can see that a well-designed digital experience can truly change financial habits, especially among younger customers and build deeper, more conscious relationships with the bank. This tool is an important step for us towards banking that not only helps manage money, but above all supports customers in achieving their life goals,” said Darek Maciołek, CMO & CXO, BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A.

“GOdreams is an example of a product that truly leads to changes in user behavior: from planning to consistently setting money aside for future goals. We focused on making the saving process as intuitive, personalized, and flexible as possible, including features such as Autopilot and gamification elements. The high level of user engagement confirms that customers are not only using the tool but are actually building lasting financial habits with its support,” said Emilia Jakubiak, My Savings Value Stream Leader, BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A.

“Financial inclusion starts with lowering the barrier to entry. With increased availability and sound financial literacy measures, increasing financial resilience and laying solid foundations for building wealth becomes both engaging and easy. GOdreams proves that when you provide a nudging, digital path to savings goals, you empower a much broader demographic to take control of their financial future,” said Mathias Wikström, CEO & Co-Founder at Doconomy.

“It’s rewarding to see our platform delivering real impact for BNP Paribas Bank Polska. This partnership demonstrates that goal-based saving isn't just a customer benefit, it’s a strategic tool that drives deeper digital engagement. Together, we are showing how financial tools can align a customer's personal milestones with the bank’s broader growth objectives,” said Maria Kihlberg, Head of Customer at Doconomy.
