FIRESIDE WITH GAIL GALLIE: Making of THE NAT

Live-streamed from the Arctic Basecamp in Davos, this conversation features Gail Gallie, Co-Founder of THE NAT and Project Everyone, and Partner at Nature2. She shares insights into the making of THE NAT, a new platform designed to drive and accelerate investment capital into nature for the restoration of the natural world.

The nature-finance gap is about $700 billion a year, which is less than 2% of wealth privately held. To move this capital, an intervention in the "Vibe sphere" is needed to make investing in nature desirable and adopted through culture.

Moderated by Silvia Pavoni, Editor-in-Chief of The Banker (Financial Times), Gail discusses the power of culture to shift the 'vibe' around nature finance and the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) driving big-name investors.

This is a recording from the Stage of Impact Davos Edition held during the week of the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting in January 2026, hosted by Doconomy at the Arctic Basecamp in partnership with The Banker, Standard Chartered, Adapteo Group, Consumers International, Osborne Clarke, Business Sweden and IMAGINE.
